About the Role
Crocs, Inc. is looking for a Demand Planning Manager to strengthen forecast accuracy and keep inventory healthy across the Direct-to-Consumer channel, including Retail and Ecommerce. This position supports financial performance by analyzing supply delays, inventory surpluses, and demand trends while working closely with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Customer Service.
The role is aligned to the Collaborator work style, which means a blend of in-person and virtual work. Crocs’ flexible office model includes different personas ranging from fully in-office to fully remote, and this position follows the Collaborator arrangement.
What You'll Do
- Lead the Southeast Asia DTC merchandise planning team, covering preseason purchasing as well as in-season forecasting and inventory control.
- Build product-level preseason forecasts in units, revenue, and margin, and share them with leadership.
- Shape inventory plans by product category so they fit the Open to Buy budget and channel-specific needs.
- Own the monthly demand review and the relevant S&OP sections, making sure all stakeholders stay aligned and that risks and opportunities are escalated when needed.
- Refresh the monthly sales forecast using the latest sales trends, promotional activity, and distribution plans to improve product availability.
- Monitor weekly sales, study sell-through performance and gaps, and recommend corrective actions to merchant, commercial, and allocation teams.
- Support and validate seasonal size-curve development using historical data.
- Improve in-stock performance and inventory turnover by spotting excess stock, driving markdown decisions, and supporting profitable sell-down strategies.
- Work with supply planning and merchandising teams to uncover cross-channel and cross-country inventory opportunities.
- Lead process-improvement efforts that standardize and enhance preseason and in-season planning through new software modules.
- Perform quantitative analysis of prior-season demand and supply issues, then turn the findings into insights that improve future planning.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of experience in demand planning or merchandise planning.
- Background in retail or ecommerce, preferably within apparel or fashion.
- Solid knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, and OTB modeling.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capability.
- Advanced proficiency with planning systems and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across country and regional teams.
- Skill in converting data into clear insights and presentation materials.
- Comfort working under time pressure and managing several priorities at once.
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to question existing approaches and adapt to change.
- Fluency in English.
