About the Role

We are looking for a mid-level Observability Engineer who can strengthen and support a large-scale monitoring environment. The role focuses on improving application visibility, maintaining observability tools, and building automation that helps teams keep services stable and reliable.

What You’ll Do

• Set up, run, and fine-tune enterprise monitoring and observability solutions.
• Work with engineering teams to improve visibility across applications and infrastructure.
• Develop automation that supports monitoring, alerting, and operational efficiency.
• Help ensure application reliability through proactive observability practices.
• Partner with SRE teams to define and monitor service-level objectives.
• Integrate monitoring data with ITSM and CMDB systems for more context-rich alerts.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of focused experience in performance monitoring or observability engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace and other APM platforms, including setup, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience instrumenting different data sources so traces, metrics, and logs can be sent to the right endpoints using OpenTelemetry.
• Strong scripting ability in Python and Shell for automation and maintenance tasks.
• Experience working with SRE teams to define and track SLOs.
• Good understanding of monitoring workloads and services in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations and using CMDB data to make alerts more relevant.
• Dynatrace Associate or Professional certification is preferred.
