Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will represent the company directly with customers and play an important role in keeping diagnostic analyzers running accurately and efficiently.

Role summary

This position sits within the Customer Support team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and reports to the Service Team Leader C/E. The role is focused on delivering a high level of customer support through troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, servicing, and repair of Radiometer analyzers. You will also act as a technical resource and product educator for customer accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out advanced fault-finding, installation work, routine maintenance, and repairs for the assigned analyzer base.
• Keep tools and test equipment properly maintained and calibrated.
• Complete Regulatory Field Action Notes and technical updates within required timelines while following all regulatory obligations.
• Install analyzers and provide customer training when needed.
• Track and manage spare parts usage carefully and ensure service parts are recorded correctly.
• Follow company rules, operating guidelines, policies, and compliance standards.
• Perform operating system upgrades and help keep devices aligned with cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide basic IT support for Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11 systems.
• Edit or add IP addresses on devices and verify connectivity with Middleware or LIS/HIS/EMR systems.

Required background

The company is seeking someone with a university degree in biomedical engineering, mechanical or electromechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or a closely related field. You should bring 3 to 5 years of experience as a field service engineer in the healthcare sector, ideally working with medical or point-of-care devices and diagnostic equipment.
