Role overview
Pollard Banknote Limited is hiring a Finishing Worker for its Barrhead Plant at 6203 46 Street in Barrhead, Alberta, Canada. This is a full-time onsite role, and the work schedule will be determined later. The position reports to the Supervisor, Finishing.
The role focuses on handling products across several production lines and continuously checking items through each stage of the process to ensure they meet strict quality expectations, remain intact, and match customer specifications.

Key responsibilities
- Operate in different finishing-line functions such as slabbing, feeding, gathering, auditing, and cartoning, while keeping a close watch on product quality.
- Make sure required materials and supplies, including boxes and cartons, are prepared ahead of time and available when needed.
- Report product issues or equipment concerns to the Manufacturing Operator, Lead Hand, or Supervisor.
- Keep the work area tidy and well organized throughout the shift.
- Follow all company rules and procedures related to health and safety, security, and day-to-day operations.
Candidate profile
- Flexible team player who can manage several tasks at once.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable with change and open to new methods and ideas.
- Reliable, punctual, and prepared to work shifts or overtime on short notice.
- Able to adjust priorities quickly as work demands change.
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 lbs on the production line.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, quality control, or production is considered an advantage.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with teammates and supervisors.
