Overview
This is a contract frontend development opportunity for a React-focused engineer supporting the creation of responsive web applications. The work is tied to building high-quality digital interfaces that help train next-generation AI systems through real-world, domain-specific input across areas such as finance, healthcare, and engineering. The role is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Compensation
The pay range for this assignment is $30 to $130 per hour.
What You’ll Do
- Create, enhance, and support responsive web applications with React.js and modern JavaScript, keeping performance and scalability in mind.
- Work alongside UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to turn product ideas into usable features.
- Convert wireframes and design mockups into interactive interfaces that are accessible and work consistently across browsers.
- Produce clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code that follows accepted development standards.
- Take part in code reviews, offer helpful feedback, and support junior team members when needed.
- Keep up with current frontend practices and contribute ideas for improving development workflows.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern JavaScript, including ES6+, hooks, component lifecycles, and state handling.
- Background in building and tuning responsive web apps for performance and cross-browser support.
- Working knowledge of frontend build and testing tools such as Webpack, Babel, Jest, or Cypress.
- Ability to turn UI/UX concepts into usable, accessible, and polished interfaces.
- Good analytical thinking and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving, team-oriented setting.
