About the role
For the Berlin location, DB InfraGO AG is looking for a Gleisbauer:in (w/m/d) as soon as possible. This position is part of a large rail organization with more than 500 professions, offering secure employment and long-term prospects for both experienced professionals and career starters. The team works collaboratively and supports one another.
Key responsibilities
- You will help ensure the continuous upkeep of the rail network and track systems.
- You will independently carry out inspection, maintenance, and repair work on components such as rails, sleepers, and track beds.
- You will always keep the safety of your teammates in mind while working.
- You will take part in an internal qualification program, attend regular training sessions, and continue developing your skills.
Profile
- You have successfully completed training as a track worker or in a similar trade.
- You bring the motivation and suitability needed to gain further qualifications in the track construction field.
- You are willing to work shifts, including night, weekend, and public holiday duty, and to work outdoors.
- You are comfortable with physically demanding tasks and enjoy working as part of a team.
- A valid Class B driving licence is required.
