Global Procurement - MIS & Data Analytics

Role overview

This position supports procurement excellence by handling management reporting, analytics, and continuous-improvement initiatives across the supply chain function.

MIS and reporting

• Prepare departmental and management MIS reports.
• Calculate purchase price variance (PPV) for direct procurement versus budget using SAP data.

ESG support

• Compile SCM-related inputs for the organization’s annual ESG reporting.
• Coordinate ESG assessments for shortlisted suppliers as per the defined target.
• Align with suppliers and the EHS team to plan assessment dates and schedules.
• Note that the EHS team will carry out the assessments.
• Organize ESG training for suppliers according to the target plan.
• Work with suppliers and the EHS team to schedule training sessions.
• Track ESG objectives for SCM and work toward timely achievement.
• Prepare the Scope 3 roadmap.

Data analytics

• Gather, clean, and analyze data to generate insights that support strategic business decisions.
• Run the annual RM/PM price budgeting exercise for direct materials.
• Build data baselines through collection and analysis.
• Coordinate with purchasers to obtain current market prices for materials.
• Work with finance and purchasers to finalize the correct budget price.
• Partner with the IT team on automation and digitization initiatives for the procurement team, including a newly developed SAP T-code for supplier outstanding payments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for value-creation activities and integration work.
• Compile data, prepare meeting schedules, and set agendas for conferences.

SCM excellence

• Support applications for SCM excellence assessments across planning, logistics, procurement, and AVD.
• Mentor LSSGB projects within SCM and help teams complete certification successfully.
