Role overview

This position reports to the Hotel Manager and sits within a small, friendly team dedicated to delivering memorable guest experiences. The role is focused on maintaining high housekeeping standards across guest rooms and shared spaces.

Responsibilities

• Keep shared guest and public spaces aligned with brand cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Complete both in-house and departure room cleans to a consistently high level.
• Work efficiently while ensuring the quality of cleaning meets hotel expectations.
• Share observations with the Housekeeping Manager or Hotel Manager about common areas that may need deep cleaning, maintenance, or replacement to keep standards high.

Requirements

• Must have valid Australian working rights, such as citizenship, permanent residency, or an approved visa.
• Strong attention to detail, good organisation, and a high cleanliness standard.
• Availability for at least 3 shifts per week, mainly during morning or daytime hours.
• Comfortable working collaboratively as well as independently.
• Suitable for a fast-moving environment where tasks and priorities can change from day to day.
• An adaptable attitude and a willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.

Eligibility

Applicants must have approved Australian work rights and be able to commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week, primarily in the morning or day shift window.
