Role Overview
This remote HR and administration specialist role is a part-time contract position for candidates in the United States. The engagement is designed for a flexible commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week and focuses on core people-operations and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with hiring workflows and new-joiner onboarding activities.
- Coordinate payroll-related tasks and manage benefits administration processes.
- Draft, evaluate, and refine HR policies to support compliance and consistent operations.
- Create clear documentation and provide practical guidance on HR procedures and best practices.
- Work with internal stakeholders asynchronously on staffing plans and administrative initiatives.
- Use HR knowledge to contribute to AI-enabled research and enterprise-focused projects.
Required Background
- Hands-on experience in HR operations, recruiting, or administrative management.
- Working knowledge of payroll platforms, employee benefits administration, and compliance standards.
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
- Strong organization skills and careful attention to detail.
- Comfort working independently in a remote, project-based setting.
