Information Security Analyst

Role overview

This position supports the organisation’s information security programme by helping to implement, monitor, and strengthen controls and processes. The role is focused on maintaining alignment with ISO/IEC 27001, NIA requirements, and internal security policies.

What you will do

• Keep watch over systems and networks for possible security alerts and incidents.
• Carry out vulnerability assessments and follow up on remediation until issues are resolved.
• Support ISMS and NIA compliance work, including audits, evidence collection, and documentation.
• Review user access regularly and help enforce security controls.
• Assist with incident handling, investigation, and reporting activities.
• Help build security awareness across the organisation through communication and guidance.

What the employer is looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 2 to 5 years of experience in information security or IT risk.
• Working knowledge of ISO 27001, NIA, and broader cybersecurity frameworks.
• Professional certifications such as ISO 27001 LI/LA or CISA are preferred.

Additional information

The role is based in Qatar and can involve on-site or hybrid working. Local candidates are preferred. Applicants from outside Qatar may be considered if they can join immediately.
