Junior Graphic Designer

About the Role

We are hiring a Junior Graphic Designer for a fast-expanding laser cutting and printing business that serves the events sector from Padstow, Sydney, NSW. Along with design work, the role also includes social media responsibilities, so prior exposure to that space will be an advantage. This is a full-time onsite position, scheduled to begin in August 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Create graphic artwork and design files using Adobe Illustrator.
• Set up artwork for laser cutting and printing workflows.
• Collaborate closely with senior designers, administrative staff, and the production team.
• Write captions and manage posting across social platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
• Help plan and organise Instagram and TikTok content feeds.
• Assist with occasional video editing tasks when needed.
• Support light maintenance of the Shopify website from time to time.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Prior experience using Instagram and TikTok is preferred.
• Familiarity with Shopify website management is preferred.
• Access to your own transport.
• A fast learner who can adapt quickly.
• A reliable team player who can also work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to complete tasks on schedule.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain effective under pressure.
• Self-driven mindset with the initiative to act without close supervision.
• Creative approach to design work and the ability to perform well under tight deadlines.

Additional Information

The role is based in Padstow Heights, New South Wales, Australia. The company works in laser cutting and printing for the events industry. Social media capability is considered an important bonus for this position.

This opportunity is for a full-time role beginning in August 2026.
