About Hato Hone St John

Hato Hone St John has been supporting New Zealanders and saving lives since 1885. In addition to ambulance services, its large network of more than 11,000 staff and volunteers works across Aotearoa to strengthen communities and help people live healthier, happier, and longer lives.

About the role

The Telecare team is seeking a confident, technology-minded support representative who can juggle multiple tasks effectively. This permanent full-time position involves 40 hours per week on rotating shifts between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

The main purpose of the role is to help grow the customer base in the Telecare area by promoting the value of a St John Medical Alarm, educating prospective customers, and supporting new customer acquisition referrals. You will provide clear and accurate information about Telecare products and services, and also assist Telecare Field Support Representatives when needed.

You will also contribute to sales and activity goals by actively promoting Telecare solutions and building strong, positive working relationships with customers, outside stakeholders, and the wider community.

About you

To succeed in this position, you should bring a customer-focused mindset, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in working with purpose. The role is best suited to someone who thrives in a busy, fast-changing environment and values accuracy and attention to detail.
