Operations Analyst

Job Overview

The Creatives Café is looking for a meticulous and data-focused Operations Analyst to support day-to-day performance improvements. This role centers on reviewing operational workflows, spotting efficiency gaps, tracking results, and helping deliver initiatives that strengthen productivity and overall business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine business operations and related data to spot patterns, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve.
• Track key performance indicators and compile recurring operational reports for review.
• Contribute to the design and rollout of process enhancement initiatives.
• Use data analysis to inform business choices and operational planning.
• Work with teams across the business to streamline workflows and boost efficiency.
• Recognize operational risks and suggest practical corrective actions.
• Assist with forecasting, capacity planning, and allocation of resources.
• Keep records, reports, and operational documents accurate and up to date.
• Support project execution and monitor performance after implementation.
• Share insights, recommendations, and analysis with managers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline is required.
• Experience in operations analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a comparable function is preferred.
• Strong capability in analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and evaluating complex situations.
• Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Experience using Power BI, SQL, ERP platforms, or business intelligence tools is considered an advantage.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organization.
• Ability to juggle several priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Candidates must be legally permitted to work in New Zealand.

This is a full-time position based in New Zealand and is intended for onsite work.
