Role overview

This opportunity is being handled on behalf of a partner employer, which will manage applications and all subsequent hiring steps. The role is based in the United Arab Emirates and is centered on improving the public and internal interfaces of a widely used developer platform serving millions of developers around the world.

You will lead the experience across major surfaces such as SDKs, APIs, CLI tools, documentation, and dashboards, with the goal of making them consistent, easy to use, and dependable. A major part of the work involves rethinking these touchpoints for both human developers and AI-powered coding agents. The position sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and design, and requires turning complex technical systems into smooth developer experiences. The environment is fast-paced, highly technical, collaborative, and built around autonomy and strong written communication. Your work will shape developer adoption, product usability, and the direction of agent-ready infrastructure.

Key accountabilities

• Set and manage the product direction for core developer-facing surfaces, including SDKs, APIs, CLI tooling, documentation frameworks, and dashboards, while keeping the overall experience coherent.
• Work directly with a broad user base, from independent developers to enterprise engineering teams and AI-native products, to uncover pain points and determine the most valuable improvements.
• Convert customer needs and technical limitations into clear product definitions, partnering closely with engineering and design to deliver strong solutions.
• Define what it means for a product to be friendly to AI agents by influencing how those systems interact with APIs, documentation, and tool behavior.
• Set measurable goals for each release and monitor adoption, activation, understanding, and automated usage across both human-led and AI-driven workflows.
• Keep distributed teams aligned so that all interface-related initiatives support one unified developer experience.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of product management experience in developer tools, platforms, or infrastructure products, or equivalent founder-level ownership experience.
• Demonstrated ownership of external-facing products such as SDKs, APIs, CLIs, dashboards, or developer platforms used by other developers.
• Strong technical understanding, including the ability to follow architecture discussions, assess API design, and collaborate effectively with engineers.
• Clear knowledge of how modern AI coding agents interact with developer tooling, along with a strong view on designing for agent-led workflows.
• Strong preference for rapid execution, experimentation, and iterative learning over heavy upfront documentation.
• Practical, hands-on product style, including using tools directly, writing code when necessary, and developing opinions through firsthand experience.
• Excellent asynchronous communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, written-first environment.
