About the Company

PayPal has spent over 25 years transforming global commerce by making money movement, selling, and shopping simpler, more personalized, and more secure. With a presence in around 200 markets, the company supports consumers and businesses as they participate in the global economy.

Operating at large scale, PayPal runs a worldwide two-sided network that connects hundreds of millions of merchants and consumers. Its platform supports online and in-person payments, including proprietary payment solutions that allow transactions to be completed directly on PayPal’s platform for customers.

The company enables users to pay, receive money, transfer funds, and withdraw balances. Consumers can transact more safely with merchants through multiple funding options, including bank accounts, PayPal or Venmo balances, branded credit products, cards, certain cryptocurrencies, and other stored value methods such as gift cards and eligible credit card rewards. PayPal, Venmo, and Xoom also make personal transfers easier and safer. For merchants, the platform provides an end-to-end payments solution with authorization, settlement, instant access to funds, payouts, customer engagement tools, exchange and return handling, and risk management support. It also helps businesses expand across borders while reducing the friction of cross-border trade.

PayPal’s culture is anchored in Inclusion, Innovation, Collaboration, and Wellness, which guide how teams work together and support customers, communities, and one another.
