Role overview

Jet Aviation is hiring a commercially minded and detail-focused Quotation Specialist for its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) function in Singapore. The role centers on building precise cost estimates, shaping pricing approaches, and preparing competitive quotations for business and corporate aircraft maintenance work.

You will partner closely with Sales, Procurement, Planning, Production, and Technical teams to support contract wins through well-developed commercial and technical proposals. After an award is secured, you will also help release approved quotations in CRM and SAP and ensure a smooth transition to the teams that will execute the project.

Work location and setup

The role is based in Singapore, SG 797799, and follows an onsite working arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer aircraft maintenance needs and clarify the scope of each project.
• Carry out detailed research to support quotation building, including approvals, parts and kit availability, special tools, and supplier capability.
• Work with Procurement and outside vendors to secure reliable pricing and lead times for parts, kits, and subcontracted work.
• Coordinate with Planning and Production to assess labour demand, timelines, turnaround expectations, and resource availability.
• Prepare project costings, pricing structures, and complete commercial and technical proposals.
• Make sure every quotation follows internal processes, procedures, and approval rules before it is issued.
• Provide customers with accurate, timely quotations and support the Sales team during proposal discussions and contract negotiations.
• Reply quickly to customer questions and provide both technical and commercial explanations when needed.
• Keep CRM records current, complete, and accurate.
• Load approved quotations into CRM and SAP and start invoicing steps without delay.
• Pass awarded projects on to Project Preparation, PMO, Operations, and Billing teams in an organized way.
• Join internal review sessions and customer pre-input meetings when required.
• Handle other duties assigned by management as business needs change.

Required qualifications and experience

• A diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or another related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Quotation Management, Planning, PMO, or MRO operations within a Part 145 maintenance organization.
• Background in supporting aircraft maintenance projects and preparing commercial proposals.
• Technical familiarity with Boeing 737, Airbus A318/A319/A320, or Airbus A220 aircraft is considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of the aerospace and aviation maintenance sector, including OEMs and regulatory requirements.
• Practical knowledge of quotation workflows, project costing, and pricing methods.
• Sound grasp of aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling practices.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
• Experience with SAP and CRM platforms is preferred.
• Commercially aware with good business and financial judgment.
• Clear communication, strong presentation ability, and solid customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and contribute to successful contract negotiations.
• Highly organized, careful with detail, and committed to accuracy.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision and take ownership of outcomes.
