Role Overview

System One’s Engineering division is expanding quickly across energy, construction, engineering, and manufacturing, and is seeking a recruiter to support that growth. This role is part of one of the nation’s largest engineering staffing organizations and is designed for someone who can help drive hiring success through sound judgment, collaboration, and a strong recruiting approach.

• Work model: Hybrid, combining onsite and remote work
• Work hours: 40 hours per week

• Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000 annually

What You Will Do

• Create innovative staffing strategies to build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future openings.
• Design interview questions tailored to specific roles, including situational and behavioral formats.
• Interview candidates across a broad range of positions.
• Work closely with the Business Accounts Manager to support successful hiring outcomes.
• Research industries and role requirements to better identify strong talent matches.
• Keep candidate records and databases accurate and current.
• Maintain tracking information for candidates, job requisitions, and client status.
• Stay informed about updates to federal and state employment laws related to interviewing and hiring.
• Use AI-based tools to improve sourcing, screening, and candidate qualification efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid understanding of recruiting and staffing practices.
• At least 3 years of recruiter experience in a staffing agency environment, ideally in energy, engineering, manufacturing, or light industrial sectors.
• Experience using sourcing platforms such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Comfort with MS Office and applicant tracking systems, especially Bullhorn.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under competing deadlines.
• Excellent people skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with candidates.
