Sales Associate

Role Overview

This position is for a luxury retail Sales Associate at Maison Alaïa in Riyadh. The role focuses on supporting store sales performance, delivering a refined customer experience, and maintaining boutique standards that reflect the brand’s image.

Sales Performance

• Contribute to the boutique’s monthly sales goals together with the wider team.
• Work to improve average basket size in both units and value, including UPT and ATV.
• Actively identify opportunities to add related products and drive cross-selling.
• Build a solid understanding of ready-to-wear and accessories construction, terminology, and product language.

Client Service Excellence

• Create an exceptional customer experience aligned with the ALAÏA service standard.
• Represent the brand with a polished, premium approach at all times inside the boutique.
• Welcome clients in person, by phone, and by email in line with brand guidance.
• Develop and maintain the client book and keep the customer database up to date.
• Strengthen client loyalty through outstanding service and attentive treatment.
• Maintain long-term client relationships through consistent follow-up.

Boutique Operations and Visual Merchandising

• Participate in team meetings, events, annual stock counts, and daily boutique operations as needed.
• Ensure product displays follow boutique guidelines and remain presented to a high standard.
• Keep the store clean, organised, and well maintained throughout the day.
• Follow all security procedures and maintain a security-conscious mindset.

Brand Representation

• Maintain strong product knowledge, including collections, trends, and product details.
• Follow the brand’s grooming requirements and presentation standards.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, partners, and cross-functional teams.

Profile

• Prior experience in luxury retail is required.
• Strong client treatment and service standards are expected.
• You should be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• The role requires someone who can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
