Role Overview

Securitas Security Services USA is recruiting professional security officers for assignments in the Abilene, Texas area. The role centers on helping create a secure setting for clients, employees, and visitors. Key Duties

• Maintain a visible, professional security presence at assigned sites
• Watch over and move through designated areas to help prevent unauthorized activity
• Manage entry control by checking identification and allowing approved access
• Carry out foot patrols or vehicle patrols as needed
• Handle incidents and urgent situations with composure and professionalism
• Support employees, visitors, and clients with courteous customer service
• Prepare clear and accurate reports and activity logs
• Work according to site instructions, post orders, and all applicable procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old due to the company driving policy
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Must be able to clear a background check and drug screening
• Strong verbal communication and people skills are necessary
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods
• Reliable transportation and steady attendance are expected

Compensation and Benefits

The pay rate for this position is $18.08 per hour. Eligible employees may receive paid training, continued development, and access to career growth within a global security company. Weekly pay is available in some locations.
