Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Talent & Performance will guide the ongoing development of SIE’s global performance management approach, known as Game Changers. This role brings performance management together with succession planning, calibration, and career development so that people programs support business priorities, leadership expectations, and a culture centered on growth. The position requires both strategic thinking and strong execution to modernize the employee experience beyond traditional ratings and check-ins.

Location is remote across the US, with San Mateo and New York City preferred. The role sits within People | Talent Enablement & Development and reports to the Global Head of Talent Enablement and Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and improve the enterprise performance program for 10,000+ employees, ensuring it remains clear, fair, and effective.
  • Build and roll out performance structures that support meaningful differentiation, aligned goals, and development feedback grounded in company values.
  • Manage BetterWorks usage across performance, feedback, calibration, and talent review activities, including workflows, system optimization, and AI-enabled features.
  • Connect performance management with promotions, succession planning, 9-box reviews, and internal mobility efforts.
  • Work with Learning & Development, Rewards, HR business partners, and business leaders to create scalable enablement assets such as manager guides, toolkits, and e-learning content.
  • Use behavioral science and people analytics to strengthen transparency, engagement, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Ensure performance programs reflect SIE’s values of Passionate, Trailblazer, and One, along with the company’s leadership behaviors.
  • Partner with the People Brand and Communications team to keep performance messaging consistent, clear, and impactful.
  • Track and present performance health indicators, calibration trends, and adoption metrics to stakeholders including the CHRO and executive leadership.
