Role overview
The dashboard team is the main entry point into Browserbase. In this role, you would own the product’s web experience end to end, spanning authentication, billing, observability, and complex data-driven interfaces. The work is genuinely full-stack: you will create polished user experiences while also solving the technical challenges behind them.
What you will do
- Develop and expand Browserbase’s dashboard and broader web presence.
- Create sophisticated interfaces and visualizations that turn large volumes of data into something easy to understand.
- Work closely with other teams so the dashboard communicates Browserbase’s capabilities in a clear and effective way.
- Help shape, define, and rank roadmap priorities that enhance the customer experience.
- Set and uphold strong standards for frontend speed, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.
- Keep documentation current and actively share knowledge with teammates.
Technical background needed
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js.
- Solid proficiency in TypeScript.
- Full-stack development exposure, including Node.js, APIs, and Postgres.
- Experience working on data-intensive products such as observability tools, analytics platforms, or dashboards.
- Working knowledge of UI/UX best practices and building complex interfaces.
What makes you a strong fit
- You work with high ownership and can set direction, make decisions, and move work forward without needing perfect instructions.
- You have a strong bias for action and are comfortable taking responsibility for outcomes.
- You can manage projects independently with limited oversight.
- You communicate clearly, both in writing and face to face, and know when each format is most effective.
- You adapt quickly, learn unfamiliar systems fast, and make practical technical choices.
- You enjoy collaborating with a small, ambitious team in a fast-moving environment.
- You are willing to work onsite five days per week in San Francisco HQ, relocate there, or work remotely from New York.
Why this role is appealing
- You will shape the customer-facing dashboard that every Browserbase user interacts with.
- You will build rich, complex applications that make the company’s infrastructure tangible.
- You will work alongside a small engineering team with high standards and a strong focus on quality.
- You will join an ambitious startup where your work has immediate impact.
