Role overview
This position is for an overnight concierge at Mildmay House in Liverpool. The role is focused on keeping residents safe, maintaining building security, and providing a visible on-site presence through the night.
About the organisation
Salvation Army Homes provides housing, support, and resettlement services for people who have experienced homelessness. The organisation works with vulnerable individuals, including people with complex needs, and aims to help them move forward through person-centred support.
Key duties
- Act as a nightly on-site presence to support resident safety and building security.
- Oversee the flow of people coming into and leaving the property.
- Keep an eye on CCTV and carry out routine checks of the premises.
- Interact appropriately with vulnerable residents who may stay in the service for up to six months.
- Promote adherence to house rules and discourage behaviour that is not suitable for the environment.
- Record incidents and observations in a security log.
