About the role

Join a luxury five-star hotel and residence in Dubai Marina as a Barista, where you’ll help create polished, memorable beverage experiences for guests from around the world. The property features 328 rooms and residence suites, along with flexible event areas, restaurants, and bars. It is supported by a diverse team representing more than 30 languages and nationalities.

What you’ll do

• Craft and present a variety of coffees, espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to a high standard.
• Offer warm, personalized service by learning guest preferences and building repeat relationships.
• Recommend and promote signature drinks, seasonal items, pastries, and other menu choices to enhance satisfaction and support sales goals.
• Use strong product knowledge to suggest beverages and food items that suit each guest’s preferences.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and service so every drink reflects luxury hotel standards.
• Keep coffee machines, grinders, and related equipment running smoothly and report issues promptly to avoid disruption.
• Track stock such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other essentials, and flag replenishment needs in advance.
• Support receiving, storing, and rotating inventory while following food safety practices.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and health and safety rules while keeping the work area spotless and sanitary.
• Recognize returning guests where appropriate, remember preferences, and help promote dining options, loyalty programs, and special offers.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage team to improve guest engagement, sales performance, and overall service quality.

Experience and skills

The ideal candidate brings 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a premium or upscale setting. Strong English communication skills, a friendly and outgoing approach, and the ability to work well in a team are important. You should be adaptable, service-focused, and comfortable handling a range of duties with a positive attitude.
