Business Development Manager

Role overview

Help AG, an e& enterprise company, is hiring an experienced Business Development Manager to own a designated industry segment across the Middle East. In this role, you will spot new business potential for Help AG’s products and services, work closely with internal leadership and vendor partners, and serve as the ongoing contact point for customers. You will also reach out to target accounts through phone, email, and introductory meetings to present Help AG’s portfolio.

Help AG is the cybersecurity arm of e& enterprise, serving enterprises and government organizations across the Middle East with advisory-led security services and solutions. The company has been operating in the region since 2004 and became part of e& in February 2020.

Responsibilities

• Keep existing customers and prospects satisfied through strong account management and follow-up.
• Organize the market, customer base, and active opportunities, then focus efforts on the most promising ones.
• Spot and convert new business opportunities.
• Build additional revenue from the assigned territory.
• Protect and grow existing business relationships.
• Take ownership of annual revenue contribution of at least USD 5 million.
• Coordinate proof-of-concept activities and tender responses.
• Assist the finance team with the recovery of outstanding receivables.
• Approach target customers and introduce Help AG’s solutions through calls, emails, and meetings.
• Act as the regular commercial contact for assigned clients and prospects.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 to 5 years of successful experience in the Gulf region in IT networking or information security.
• Strong capability in presenting, demonstrating solutions, drafting proposals, and responding to RFPs and tenders.
• Experience identifying decision-makers and stakeholders, including handling discussions and negotiations at management level.
• Exposure to information security vendors and tools such as Juniper, F5, Blue Coat, and RSA.
• Background in cyber security, preferably within the UAE.
• Vendor sales certifications.
• Working knowledge of management systems, ISMS, and BCMS.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to build and sustain long-term customer relationships.
• Comfort working with CXO-level stakeholders.
• Skill in understanding customer security needs and matching them with suitable solutions.
• Strong professional communication and presentation skills.
• Flexible approach to work based on business needs.
• Active listening skills.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal collaboration ability.
• Strong command of spoken and written English; Arabic is preferred for both speaking and writing.
