About the Team
The Configuration Management group is made up of people with varied backgrounds and strong collaboration habits. Role Overview
The Configuration Controller is accountable for designing, putting in place, and maintaining the plans, processes, and procedures needed to keep configuration baselines, technical records, and datasets accurate and up to date. This work supports Rheinmetall Defence Australia projects in meeting availability, safety, quality, cost, schedule, and contractual obligations.
In day-to-day work, the role handles configuration management activities across data, parts, software, and documents in both digital and paper form, using company systems and established workflows. The position also helps ensure that project information is created and maintained under strong governance and a consistent company-wide process.

Experience and Technical Background
- Hands-on experience managing complex bills of materials, parts lists, drawings, and build-state configuration records.
- Working knowledge of Siemens Team Center and SAP modules PP, MM, QM, and PM.
- Strong understanding of material parts list structures and how to manage them effectively.
- Ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance, which requires Australian citizenship.
