Dynacare is hiring a Medical Courier to support the safe, timely movement of medical samples and related materials. In this position, you represent the company on the road and help ensure that critical specimens, reports, and mail reach their destinations accurately and without delay. The role is casual and on-call, with coverage needed for client requests, vacations, and absences.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for collecting scheduled samples from clients and delivering medical reports, mail, and other assigned items to the required locations. The position requires a strong focus on punctuality, accuracy, professionalism, and vehicle safety, since even small delays can affect patient care.

Requirements

• Positive, friendly, and quality-focused attitude
• Ability to work well in a team while also being dependable and self-directed
• Valid G driver’s licence with a clean 3-year driving abstract
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial driver or courier position
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification

Working conditions

• Loading and transporting specimen bags, supplies, and waste between locations
• Frequent entry and exit from vehicles
• Carrying items up and down stairs and into and out of buildings
• Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs and continuous vehicle entry/exit
• Exposure to body fluids and to both hot and cold weather
• Driving in city and highway conditions, during the day or night
• Work across all weather conditions
• Handling TDG-regulated substances
• Long driving hours, including travel to and from out-of-town or rural locations
