Role Overview

The Data Analyst for BI and Data Framework will be responsible for strengthening the data foundation that powers enterprise business intelligence and analytics. The role also includes support for operational reporting, analysis, and Power BI-based deliverables. This position works across teams to make sure data remains accurate, dependable, and ready for analysis.

Core Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and improve foundational datasets, data models, and lineage that support BI and operational reporting.
• Establish and maintain metric definitions, business logic, and transformation rules in a clear and documented way.
• Carry out data validation, reconciliation, and issue investigation to improve reporting accuracy.
• Keep supporting documentation up to date, including dataset notes, logic references, and dependency information.
• Create and refine Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards.
• Use visualization principles that make insights easy to understand and act on.
• Handle ad hoc analysis and report enhancements based on business needs.
• Support recurring operational reports, data refreshes, validations, and exception reviews.
• Respond to data and reporting requests while balancing turnaround speed with governance requirements.
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, Technology, and Governance teams to align on expectations and data usage.
• Convert business needs into analytical requirements and structured data solutions.
• Contribute to discussions around improving and evolving the data landscape.

Required Experience and Skills

• Practical experience with SQL and Azure-based data environments, including enterprise data frameworks, integration, and governance.
• Background in data management, data analysis, BI, or analytics.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, including datasets, visuals, Power Query, and DAX.
• Solid understanding of data structures, data modeling, and reporting pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and teams.
• Strong analytical ability with careful attention to detail.
