Core responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and interpret data from multiple sources to support business and operational decisions.
- Create and update reports, dashboards, and visualizations that help stakeholders monitor performance and key metrics.
- Check data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness through validation, cleaning, and quality control steps.
- Examine large datasets to identify patterns, improvement areas, possible risks, and growth opportunities.
- Share findings through clear reports and presentations tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work with cross-functional teams on forecasting, performance tracking, process optimization, and broader improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, along with close attention to detail.
- Hands-on ability with spreadsheets, data analysis tools, reporting tools, and data visualization software.
- Working knowledge of SQL, database fundamentals, statistical methods, and data management practices is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for different audiences.
- Good planning and time-management skills, including the ability to handle several priorities and deadlines at once.
- Exposure to business intelligence, reporting structures, data governance, forecasting, performance measurement, and process improvement concepts is beneficial.
