Delivery Driver

Overview

Lyreco Group is hiring a driver to complete customer deliveries and serve as a professional point of contact during drop-offs. The role is focused on timely order fulfilment, careful handling of goods, and maintaining a high standard of service throughout each delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods to customers based on the assigned route plan and timetable.
• Make sure every delivery is completed correctly and meets the required service standards.
• Load and unload shipments with care to avoid loss or damage.
• Check delivery information and secure customer acknowledgment or proof of delivery.
• Carry out daily checks on the vehicle and report faults or repair needs without delay.
• Observe road rules, safety requirements, and company procedures at all times.
• Update the operations team quickly on delays, delivery issues, or exceptions.
• Keep accurate delivery logs through handheld devices.
• Respond to customer questions in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Support return pickups, failed deliveries, and reverse logistics tasks when needed.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 3A driving licence, or another appropriate licence depending on the vehicle assigned.
• Preferably have 1 to 2 years of experience in delivery driving.
• Should have strong familiarity with Singapore roads and route planning.
• Must be comfortable using GPS tools and mobile delivery apps.
• Needs to be physically fit and able to lift and carry parcels safely.
• Should have solid time management and organisational abilities.
• Must possess good communication and customer service skills.
• Should be able to work independently and stay effective in a busy, high-pressure environment.
• A clean driving record and a strong commitment to safe driving are required.
