About the role

This position works closely with Commercial, Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Supply Planning to coordinate open-to-buy, pricing, promotions, and inventory execution. A major part of the job is to make sure digital and retail planning stay aligned so the business can balance sales, margin, and stock objectives.
The planner also contributes to weekly DTC leadership meetings and key business reviews, using data-backed analysis to help guide strategic and in-season decisions.
What you will do
- Manage the DTC demand plan for defined product categories across Australia Digital and Retail channels, ensuring it supports the commercial plan and seasonal buying strategy.
- Translate changes in trading and buying trends into inventory and product investment decisions that improve revenue, margin, and working capital outcomes.
- Give special attention to new launches and key product programs, while working with planning and supply teams on core and carryover seasonal items.
- Own pricing and promotional re-pricing for DTC, partnering with Commercial and Finance to keep actions aligned with trading plans and financial targets.
- Drive inventory planning to maintain strong in-stock levels, reduce stockouts, and support promotional and trading activity across .com and retail.
- Handle allocation and re-allocation for DTC so inventory is placed where it will best support launches, promotions, and in-season performance.
- Recommend seasonal and in-season strategies for stocking, pricing, and allocation, balancing margin, revenue, and inventory health.
- Serve as the key link between Planning, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to deliver the DTC go-to-market plan.
- Lead IBP and seasonal alignment conversations, representing DTC priorities across both channels.
- Own the DTC open-to-buy planning tool and ensure demand and supply inputs remain accurate and aligned.
- Present scenario-based recommendations to leadership using sales forecasts, promotional plans, inventory turns, and allocation impacts.
