Role Overview
The school is looking for an accomplished Facility Manager to take charge of the upkeep, safety, and smooth functioning of its facilities. This position is responsible for supervising day-to-day operations, coordinating with outside service providers, maintaining compliance with health and safety rules, and helping create an environment that supports effective learning. The role is key to keeping the campus infrastructure in excellent condition and ensuring a secure, welcoming, and productive setting for students and staff.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Business Administration, Construction Management, Architecture, or a similar discipline.
- At least 5 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
- Prior exposure to large-scale environments such as schools, hospitals, or shopping malls is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, assign work effectively, and keep a varied workforce motivated.
- Good understanding of operational needs in educational or public-facing institutions, along with safety and compliance expectations for shared spaces.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to work smoothly with internal teams and outside partners.
What You’ll Do
Oversee campus maintenance, daily facility operations, vendor coordination, safety adherence, and the general condition of the school’s physical environment.
