Role Overview
Millennium Plaza Doha is looking for a Front Desk Agent to deliver a polished, welcoming arrival and departure experience for hotel guests. The role centers on managing check-ins and check-outs, answering guest questions, keeping guest information accurate, coordinating reservations, and working closely with other teams to ensure each stay runs smoothly. A courteous, professional approach is essential for creating a positive and memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely, polite, and efficient service that supports strong guest satisfaction from arrival through departure.
- Welcome guests personally, using their names when available, and guide them to their rooms when appropriate.
- Support guests with hotel orientation, in-room guidance, and general questions about hotel activities.
- Stay updated on hotel details and local information such as timings, promotions, events, attractions, and other useful resources so guest queries can be answered accurately.
- Monitor daily room rates and occupancy levels to support informed front desk decisions.
- Follow front desk cashiering procedures carefully, including accurate processing of incidental charges through computerized front office systems.
- Manage guest accounts smoothly from check-in to check-out, ensuring all incidental charges are posted correctly.
- Protect guest confidentiality and avoid sharing personal or stay-related information.
- Work with a solid understanding of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, facilities, and current happenings.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures set by the organization.
Requirements
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to maintain a warm, professional presence.
- Ability to handle front desk operations such as check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest record management.
- Comfort using computerized front office systems for billing and posting charges.
- Good awareness of hotel operations, facilities, and local area information.
- Ability to respect guest privacy and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Understanding of service standards, hotel procedures, and safety requirements.
- Ability to coordinate with different departments to support guest needs effectively.
