Key responsibilities

The engineer will provide hands-on technical support across workplace devices, meeting technology, and core IT infrastructure. This includes keeping systems running smoothly, resolving issues quickly, and supporting both users and technical environments on site.

• Deliver on-site support for desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals.
• Install, set up, and maintain desktop operating systems and business applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems in a timely manner.
• Support video and audio technology used for meetings and presentations.
• Prepare meeting spaces by testing AV equipment, checking network stability, and installing and validating software such as Zoom and Teams.
• Create backup plans to reduce disruption if technical issues arise during meetings.
• Provide live technical assistance during meetings, including support for login, audio, and video issues.
• Track meeting progress and ensure all equipment continues to function correctly throughout sessions.
• Maintain the wider IT environment, including meeting rooms, server rooms, application systems, and IT platforms.
• Carry out daily checks of server rooms and meeting rooms.
• Administer and support servers, network devices, and storage systems.
• Monitor system performance and apply tuning measures to improve efficiency.
• Support core network components such as firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, wireless access points, and related devices.
• Monitor IT platforms and network quality, and assist with troubleshooting, testing, and repair activities.

Experience and qualifications

Candidates should ideally have prior Huawei project experience. If not, experience with other companies in a similar role is required, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.

The role calls for strong troubleshooting ability, a solid grasp of network architecture and security principles, and a self-driven, well-organized working style.

English and Mandarin fluency is required.
