Role overview
The Presales Field Representative will spend the workday on the road, covering animal feed markets, stores, and customer locations to strengthen business relationships, capture market intelligence, and support order generation. The position calls for frequent travel, close interaction with key buyers and traders, and consistent follow-through until deliveries are completed.
Key responsibilities
- Visit assigned customers every day as part of the planned route.
- Travel extensively, including driving distances of up to 800 km per day, to cover animal feed markets and retail stores.
- Connect with decision-makers such as store owners and major traders to build trust and support sales efforts.
- Track competitor pricing, market movement, and customer responses, then share those updates with the team.
- Introduce and position United Feeds products to prospective buyers.
- Take customer orders and follow through carefully until delivery is completed.
- Keep daily records of visits, orders taken, and insights gathered from the market.
- Follow up on customer credit matters.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of prior experience in pre-sales.
- A valid driving licence and readiness to travel long distances regularly.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Comfort using mobile applications and simple reporting tools.
- Good understanding of regional geography and local market behavior.
- Ability to join immediately.
