Position Overview

In this QA Engineer role based in Lehi, UT, you will be responsible for protecting the quality and stability of software used in the property management space. The role calls for 2 to 4 years of hands-on QA experience across manual and automation testing, strong tech-industry familiarity, and the ability to learn new systems quickly and contribute with little onboarding time.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed test plans and test cases using product requirements and user stories as the foundation.
• Run manual and automated checks on web and API functionality to find defects and confirm expected behavior.
• Perform ongoing regression testing, both manually and through automation, after product changes or new releases.
• Work alongside developers to surface issues early and support fast resolution.
• Record defects accurately in ClickUp and keep ownership of issues until they are closed.
• Help build and maintain automated test scripts in Mabl, including AI-assisted testing features such as GenAI assertions and agentic test creation.
• Support the company’s internal QA automation AI agent and look for ways to broaden automation coverage.
• Deploy branches and updates into AWS-backed test environments and keep those environments stable and production-like.
• Validate data and backend behavior through database testing in MongoDB.
• Partner with developers to better understand system architecture and improve communication between QA and engineering.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies, including one-week sprint planning and daily stand-ups, and communicate actively in Slack.
• Review user experience quality and provide practical feedback on usability and interface problems.
• Work with the QA team on performance and load testing to measure scalability and stability, then recommend improvements.
• Look for workflow improvements and continuously raise the effectiveness of the QA process.
• Use AI tools in day-to-day testing work and continue building automation and AI-driven QA skills.

Required Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in QA testing with both manual and automated approaches.
• Practical experience testing web applications and APIs.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
• Clear communication and strong collaboration skills.
• Comfort taking initiative and setting a strong example for others.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with Mabl or similar automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Experience deploying branches into cloud-hosted test environments, especially AWS.
• Database testing experience, particularly with MongoDB.
• Use of AI tools such as Claude within a QA workflow.
• Familiarity with Agile practices, ClickUp, and Slack.
• Exposure to property management software or closely related technologies.
