Role overview
Eaton is hiring a Quality Manager for its Global Data Center Segment in Dubai. This senior, globally responsible role will shape, manage, and improve the quality system for post-order execution across the segment. The objective is to make quality part of the delivery process from the start, rather than checking it only after work is completed.
Based in Dubai, the role supports a global coordination hub and works across regions, time zones, and functions to promote a unified quality approach for post-order delivery. The position is especially important for delivering consistent and dependable outcomes for hyperscale and colocation data center customers worldwide.
About Eaton and the Global Data Center Segment
Dubai is a key base for Eaton’s Middle East operations, bringing together commercial, engineering, manufacturing, and support teams in a globally connected environment. With over four decades in the region and a new sustainable campus planned in Dubai, Eaton continues to invest in long-term growth, collaboration, and capability development.
The Global Data Center Segment helps data center customers improve performance, sustainability, and cost efficiency while maintaining resilience and security. Through digital intelligence, cyber-secure products and services, compatible solutions, and engineering expertise, the segment supports faster market delivery and better business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Create and lead the worldwide post-order quality strategy for the Global Data Center Segment, ensuring alignment with business priorities, customer expectations, and Eaton standards.
- Build and maintain a single global quality structure that covers assurance, testing, process compliance, and continuous improvement across all regions.
- Work with the Post Order Director, Services, Engineering, PMO, OPEX, and regional execution leaders to integrate quality expectations into operating practices and delivery routines.
- Direct global assurance and testing methods to confirm that post-order outputs, services, and execution results meet required safety, quality, and reliability benchmarks.
- Make sure quality checks, reviews, and acceptance standards are used consistently across complex multi-region data center programs.
- Use root-cause analysis and corrective action planning to address recurring quality issues and stop them from happening again.
- Own process quality for post-order delivery globally, ensuring processes are clearly designed, documented, implemented, and followed.
- Partner with the Quality Analyst for Process and OPEX teams to close gaps, simplify workflows, and remove variation that affects customer results.
- Support process updates as services expand, new offers are launched, or customer expectations change.
- Define, track, and review global quality KPIs, dashboards, and cadence-based reviews to highlight performance, risks, and trends.
- Drive improvement programs that reduce defects, rework, cycle time, and delivery risk while improving customer satisfaction.
- Escalate major quality concerns to senior leadership with clear data, practical options, and recommendations.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a small global quality team, including the Quality Analyst for Assurance & Testing and the Quality Analyst for Process.
- Strengthen quality capability across the wider Post Order organization by influencing leaders and teams beyond direct reports.
- Encourage a culture where quality, safety, and accountability are expected standards, not trade-offs for speed.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, operations, or another related technical field from an accredited institution is required.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in quality management, operational excellence, or execution leadership within complex global engineered-to-order or services-led environments is needed.
- Experience supporting data center, critical power, or infrastructure services is preferred.
- Formal credentials in quality or continuous improvement, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO-related frameworks, are preferred.
- Experience working in or leading teams in the Middle East or other global hub locations is preferred.
- Experience establishing standard work and driving improvement across regions with both structure and practical judgment is preferred.
Why this role stands out
- Competitive pay and benefits, based on experience and contribution.
- Opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects in a collaborative environment.
- Strong support for internal mobility and promotion from within where possible.
- Ongoing development through learning, upskilling, and global learning programs via Eaton University.
- A workplace focused on reliability, safety, efficiency, sustainability, and meaningful impact.
- Wellbeing is treated as a priority, with support designed to help employees thrive.
