Position Overview
This opportunity is for a Systems Engineer focused on coding-agent workflows. The work is remote and contract-based.
Compensation
Pay is set at $85 per hour. In addition, compensation is linked to accepted tasks, with $400 paid for each accepted task.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage advanced AI coding agents to solve and assess challenging engineering work.
- Examine code, architecture choices, and system-level implementations produced by models.
- Spot defects, unusual edge cases, scaling limits, and possible failure points.
- Review and contrast outputs from multiple frontier models to understand where each performs well or poorly.
- Use sound engineering judgment in practical systems-engineering situations.
- Work on your own, asynchronously, and deliver within deadlines while helping improve model quality.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of hands-on professional experience in systems engineering.
- Background in distributed systems, networking, operating systems, storage systems, infrastructure software, or database internals.
- Frequent use of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or similar tools.
- Capability to assess model-produced system designs and implementations.
Preferred Background
- Experience creating systems that are highly scalable and sensitive to performance.
