Role overview
This remote contract role is focused on supporting the development of next-generation AI systems by providing rigorous research input. The position calls for strong subject-matter expertise, careful analysis, and the ability to turn complex information into structured, high-quality outputs that help improve model learning, reasoning, and performance.
What you will do
- Carry out detailed research in your field and turn findings into well-supported, evidence-based insights.
- Review, prepare, and format complex Word and PDF documents, including tasks such as tracked edits, form completion, and data extraction.
- Work closely with teams across legal, healthcare, policy, and finance functions to support a variety of assignments.
- Convert dense research material into clear reports and presentations aligned with Fortune 500-level expectations.
- Assess and combine academic papers, legal materials, and industry information to guide project deliverables.
- Check that all written work is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the required guidelines.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with internal stakeholders and project partners in both written and verbal form.
What we are looking for
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in academic research, law, policy, healthcare, or a closely related area.
- A Master’s degree, PhD, or JD from a recognized institution.
- Strong hands-on experience working with Word and PDF files, including formatting, tracked changes, review, and data extraction.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Comfort handling several priorities at once in a remote, deadline-focused setting.
- Experience collaborating with professionals from different disciplines on complex assignments.
- A track record of delivering polished, client-ready work.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to projects involving Fortune 500 organizations.
- Background in document workflows related to legal, healthcare, policy, or financial operations.
- Evidence of academic or industry publications or presentations.
