About the Role
This position is part of Swiggy Dineout’s growth team in Kozhikode, Kerala. The role focuses on building and managing restaurant partnerships, driving revenue, and improving the dining-out experience for users and restaurant partners.
About the Team
Swiggy Dineout is working to create one of India’s largest dining-out networks, covering more than 100 million diners and a partner base of over 21,000 restaurants across 34 cities. The platform helps customers discover restaurants, compare offers, make table reservations, and pay through the app to access discounts of up to 40% on dining bills. For restaurant partners, the goal is to become a preferred channel for growing dine-in business through demand generation, customer acquisition, and engagement.
Work Model
This is an office/field role. Employees are expected to report to the office every day from their assigned base location. The selected candidate will also be responsible for the city they are hired for and must relocate and establish their base in that city if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with restaurants while handling queries from both new and existing clients.
- Identify leads in the market and proactively approach restaurants to convert them into partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners and help them with market-related concerns, including discount structures, improving menu content with images and descriptions, and lowering cancellations.
- Increase Swiggy Dineout revenue through upselling, cross-selling, advertising spends, and other relevant channels.
- Prepare and submit sales-related reports, including competitor insights, partner visit tracking, and city trend updates.
- Act as the primary on-ground contact for potential clients and handle them directly during field visits.
Desired Profile
- Understanding of e-commerce operations or the food delivery ecosystem.
- Confident, approachable, and results-oriented personality.
- Strong communication skills in English, along with effective local language ability.
- Basic numerical understanding, including simple growth and decline analysis.
- Good negotiation and influencing ability.
- Self-driven and motivated by targets.
- Familiarity with MS Office or a similar productivity suite is an added advantage.
