Accountant

Role overview

We are looking for an Accountant with U.S. accounting experience for a contract role that can be performed remotely from India. This position is centered on supporting AI training by reviewing and validating financial data, sharing domain expertise, and helping improve the quality of accounting-related datasets.

Compensation and commitment

The pay for this assignment is $90 to $100 per hour. The expected workload is flexible, ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Use U.S.-based accounting knowledge to review, tag, and verify financial information used in AI training.
• Apply U.S. GAAP principles to keep the data accurate and contextually appropriate.
• Partner with the AI team by offering accounting expertise and detailed feedback on related workflows.
• Work with ERP platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks to explain accounting processes and practical usage.
• Help with quality checks by auditing training data and flagging missing or inconsistent information.
• Prepare clear written explanations of complex accounting topics for both technical and non-technical readers.

Required experience and skills

• Strong hands-on experience with ERP tools, especially SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks.
• Background in financial annotation, auditing, and process documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical accounting ideas for different audiences.
