AppleCare Technologies Project Manager

Summary

Apple is looking for a project management professional to support AppleCare Technologies initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. The work centers on enterprise systems and process programs that touch several business areas, including contract manufacturer onboarding, field service repair operations, warehousing, freight, service parts planning and procurement, online services, service contracts, business development and sales, and contact centre operations.

Role overview

This position sits within the Apple Support organization and acts as the main connection between business teams and the Information Systems & Technology group. It also requires cross-functional leadership across multiple business functions. The role involves creating documentation based on project size, organizing resources for project teams, communicating progress clearly across different management levels, handling project risks, tracking business readiness for change, and carrying out post-implementation reviews. Success in this role depends on delivering outcomes that meet scope, timeline, and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

The role covers project and business analysis work across enterprise processes and systems, with accountability for execution, coordination, and stakeholder alignment. It also requires managing complex situations, supporting leadership visibility, and ensuring business continuity during change.

Minimum qualifications

The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of relevant experience and be able to:

• Run several projects at the same time while keeping scope, schedule, quality, and risk under control.
• Lead workshops and idea-generation sessions to collect business needs.
• Review business processes, redesign them where needed, and propose practical improvements.
• Handle difficult project scenarios, including issue resolution, and represent the project effectively to senior leaders such as Directors and Senior Directors.
• Negotiate, manage conflict, and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including remote teams and vendors.
• Drive complex projects from planning through delivery with strong attention to change management and uninterrupted business operations.
• Use MS Office tools such as Word and Excel, along with basic project planning software, effectively.
• Apply technical and analytical problem-solving skills while aligning day-to-day work with broader company goals.
• Bring proven project leadership experience in the APAC region; global project exposure is an added advantage.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in consumer electronics or service/support operations is a plus.
• An MBA or another relevant advanced degree is preferred.
• Prior consulting experience is desirable.
• Exposure to Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
• A project management certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of SAP systems and related ERP processes, especially those used in consumer electronics environments, is preferred.
• Familiarity with Apple products is an added benefit.
