Role Overview
An established, award-winning architecture studio in Newcastle is seeking an Architect to join its design-focused team. The practice works on a broad mix of UK and international work, from civic and infrastructure projects to commercial and residential developments. Its approach places emphasis on thoughtful placemaking, environmental responsibility, and context-sensitive design, backed by strong technical delivery.
Compensation
The expected salary range is GBP 36,000 to GBP 43,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Take part in the design and delivery of projects throughout all RIBA work stages
- Create detailed design drawings, models, and presentation material to a high standard
- Liaise and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal colleagues
- Assist project leads with design development and technical coordination
- Contribute to design critiques, client discussions, and site inspections
- Help ensure projects meet UK building regulations and planning expectations
Candidate Profile
- Registered Architect with the ARB, or someone holding an equivalent recognised qualification
- A strong portfolio that reflects both design quality and technical capability
- Experience across multiple RIBA stages, preferably gained within a UK practice
- Confident use of Revit and AutoCAD
- Clear communication skills and a strong team-oriented approach
- Ability to manage time effectively while contributing to more than one project at once
- Genuine enthusiasm for design excellence, sustainability, and placemaking
