Role overview

This position is for an experienced Asset Manager who can build and run asset management strategies, improve asset performance, and lead lifecycle planning across the organization. The role involves shaping asset plans, evaluating performance and investment decisions, and supporting both financial and operational priorities over the long term.

Key responsibilities

• Create and roll out asset management approaches that support company goals and long-range business strategy.
• Oversee the full asset lifecycle, including purchase, deployment, upkeep, optimization, and final disposal.
• Track asset condition, usage, performance, and returns to improve value and operating efficiency.
• Carry out valuations, performance reviews, lifecycle cost studies, and investment assessments to guide decisions.
• Work closely with finance, operations, engineering, procurement, facilities, and senior leaders to improve asset portfolio outcomes.
• Build policies, governance practices, and performance benchmarks that support compliance and strong operations.
• Spot asset-related risks and put mitigation measures in place to improve reliability, sustainability, and continuity.
• Use EAM, ERP, CMMS, and analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on asset performance.
• Prepare management reports, financial summaries, capital planning inputs, and executive-level presentations.
• Keep up with market trends, regulations, and new technologies that can improve asset management practices.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Asset Management, Operations Management, or a similar discipline is preferred.
• Professional credentials such as CAMP, IAM Certificate/Diploma, CFA, PMP, or equivalent are considered an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in asset management, facilities management, infrastructure management, investment management, operations, or a closely related area.
• At least 2 years of experience managing enterprise asset programs, capital assets, or strategic asset portfolios is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, capital planning, financial analysis, maintenance strategy, and risk control.
• Hands-on experience with EAM platforms, ERP systems, CMMS tools, business intelligence software, and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, financial, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle several priorities at once and provide fact-based recommendations in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
