Assistant Manager - Supply Chain

Overview

This role sits at the intersection of business, functional, and IT teams, with a focus on IDOC message handling across supply chain activities. The incumbent will track, troubleshoot, and close IDOC-related issues spanning master data, order-to-cash, and sales & distribution workflows so that core systems continue to run smoothly and business interruptions stay minimal. The position also carries responsibility for meeting SLA-driven resolution timelines, supporting continuity of operations, and improving efficiency through process control, stakeholder coordination, and ongoing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with field business users and IT support teams to understand operational needs and translate them into practical tools and solutions.
• Collaborate with field teams and HQ/IT support partners to support SAP HANA-based solutions and help design and test new system capabilities.
• Review and simplify business workflows to improve efficiency within the FLNA supply chain.
• Create and run analytical utilities using Excel and Access to help business teams meet performance goals.
• Assist with user acceptance testing for new FLNA projects and system upgrades.
• Prepare and deliver training content needed for new tools, enhancements, and process changes.
• Own the resolution of more than 1,000 IDOCs per day when failures occur, ensuring issues are addressed within the required SLA.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong command of English.
• Well-developed analytical thinking.
• Working knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP HANA.
• Hands-on or programming exposure to Excel, Access, VBA, and SQL is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal presentation abilities.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in supply chain functions.
• Ability to explain issues, opportunities, and proposed solutions clearly.
• Comfort working in and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to order processing, the order lifecycle, and/or master data is preferred.

Additional Information

This position is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India and is structured as a full-time, on-site role. The core responsibility centers on keeping SAP-related IDOC flows stable and supporting operational continuity across supply chain processes.
