BIM Training Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced BIM specialist in Dammam to take on a blended position that combines client training with direct project support. In this role, you will design and deliver structured BIM learning programs for client teams while also stepping into active project settings to solve coordination and modelling issues in real time. This position is highly practical and project-oriented, so your day-to-day work will extend well beyond a classroom setting.

You will be expected to use real project experience to shape training that is immediately useful, realistic, and aligned with current industry practice.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of hands-on professional BIM experience.
• Solid experience coordinating BIM across architectural, MEP, and structural disciplines.
• Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
• Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
• Autodesk Certified Professional certification, or an equivalent Autodesk qualification at a professional level.
• Strong capability in clash detection, model federation, BIM model review, and coordination reporting.
• Working knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, LOD/LOI, CDE workflows, and ISO 19650.
• Ability to work with consultants, contractors, and client-side stakeholders.
• Comfortable mentoring and supporting junior or mid-level BIM professionals.
• Arabic and English language skills are preferred.
• Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, Civil 3D, or infrastructure BIM processes will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver BIM training sessions for client teams at different skill levels, from beginners to intermediate coordinators.
• Create learning content, exercises, and evaluations that reflect real-world project workflows and industry expectations.
• Convert lessons learned from live project work into practical training material that is relevant and easy to apply.
• Run debrief sessions after project interventions to turn coordination issues, clash resolutions, and workflow gaps into learning opportunities.
• Join client project teams whenever BIM coordination problems need active support during design coordination, clash detection, or model federation review.
• Facilitate or contribute to BIM coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
• Review BIM Execution Plans, LOD/LOI definitions, and CDE workflows to ensure they align with project needs and ISO 19650 requirements.
• Prepare coordination reports, clash detection records, and model review documents to a professional standard.
• Guide client BIM staff during live project work so that training outcomes are reinforced in practical situations.

This is a dual-function role that combines capability-building with hands-on project intervention. It is suitable for a BIM professional who enjoys both teaching and solving live coordination challenges. The position is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time onsite opportunity.
