Role summary
We are hiring a goal-driven Business Development Executive to create new business opportunities, secure client partnerships, and nurture lasting relationships for website design, website development, and SEO offerings. The ideal candidate will be able to understand a client’s needs and shape them into profitable projects.
Lead generation and prospecting
You will be expected to find and qualify potential customers through cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, networking, and other online channels. Part of the role is to identify businesses that may require website or SEO solutions and keep the sales pipeline active and healthy.
Client discussions and requirement gathering
The role involves speaking with prospects over calls, meetings, and emails to understand their business model, goals, and challenges. Based on those needs, you should recommend appropriate services such as website redesign, SEO, or maintenance.
Proposals and presentations
You will prepare quotations, proposals, and pitch decks while clearly communicating service scope, delivery timelines, and expected outputs. Basic technical explanations may need to be handled with support from the internal team.
Closing deals and negotiation
Regular follow-ups, objection handling, and negotiation around pricing, timelines, and competing offers will be part of the job. You will be responsible for converting prospects into clients and meeting monthly sales goals.
Internal coordination
Once a deal is closed, you will coordinate the handover of client requirements to the design, development, and SEO teams. You will also help address client questions during onboarding and ensure a smooth transition into project execution.
Account management and growth
The role also includes maintaining strong long-term client relationships, encouraging referrals, and supporting repeat business. You may also be expected to expand accounts by offering additional services such as SEO, AMC, content, or redesign work.
Market awareness
You should keep a close watch on trends in the website and SEO market, understand competitor pricing and service offerings, and share insights with management to help improve the company’s services.
Skills and qualifications
Strong communication and convincing ability are essential. A basic working knowledge of website design, website development, and SEO is expected. Prior experience in IT services sales or digital agency sales is preferred.
