Role Overview
Executive Aviation is looking for a Catering Agent to join the team at Hamilton Airport (YHM). This is a hands-on aviation operations role for someone who enjoys working on their own, stays organized under pressure, and adapts quickly in a busy, changing environment. The position reports to a supportive Shift Lead and is part of a travel and tourism setting.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay for this position ranges from $18.40 to $21.45 per hour. Team members, whether part-time or full-time, are eligible for comprehensive health coverage. Key Duties
- Set up and maintain the catering area, equipment, supplies, and vehicle used for deliveries.
- Load galley carts and canisters in line with airline standards and specifications.
- Monitor stock levels and place replenishment orders when required.
- Prepare and complete Transport Canada in-flight supplies compliance paperwork.
- Coordinate stock ordering and delivery schedules.
- Stay in contact with airlines, airport personnel, management, and contractors as needed.
- Respond promptly to crew reports and requests when the situation calls for it.
- Load and unload catering items from aircraft.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is personable, professional, self-driven, and able to meet deadlines reliably. This role requires flexibility for shift work, including early mornings, daytime shifts, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Employment Conditions
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Only Canadian citizens or permanent residents are eligible.
- Ability to operate a forklift truck is required.
- Employment is subject to a Transport Canada Restricted Area pass.
- A criminal background check is required.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract is required.
