Role Overview

The organization is hiring a Cloud Network Engineer for its Cloud Delivery team in Hyderabad. This role suits someone who can design, implement, troubleshoot, and tune secure cloud networking environments across AWS and hybrid infrastructures. The position calls for practical experience in cloud networking, enterprise firewalls, VPNs, routing, and security architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, build, and maintain secure network architectures on Amazon Web Services.
• Set up and troubleshoot VPN, IPSec, BGP, SD-WAN, and routing protocols.
• Deploy and administer Cisco Secure Firewall, Fortinet FortiGate, AWS Firewall, and Azure Firewall solutions.
• Build and support hybrid connectivity between cloud platforms and on-premises environments.
• Work with AWS networking components such as VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, load balancers, and Network Firewall.
• Handle firewall rules, analyze traffic patterns, and improve security posture.
• Apply Zero Trust concepts and segmentation techniques to network design.
• Support Linux-based environments for networking and security operations.
• Join incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and operational escalation efforts.
• Partner with delivery and architecture teams during onboarding and migration projects.
• Maintain alignment with internal security requirements and established best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and deployment documentation.

Candidate Profile

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• You should have at least 3 years of experience in cloud network engineering or a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS networking, hybrid cloud, TCP/IP, SD-WAN, Fortinet, FortiGate, firewall policies, Zero Trust, and IPsec VPN is expected.
• Hands-on exposure to AWS networking services, enterprise firewalls, and VPN technologies is necessary.
• You must understand routing protocols and security architecture well.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, Fortinet Network Security, or Cisco CCNP Security would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset are important for working with cross-functional teams.
