About the role

We are hiring an inventive, ideas-led Content Creator to help shape our presence across social channels, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok. This is a practical, high-energy position for someone who naturally thinks in content, keeps an eye on trends, and is happy to pick up an iPhone and start shooting.

The role involves creating content that feels timely, authentic, and engaging, whether that means using trending formats, capturing behind-the-scenes moments in the warehouse, or heading out for street interviews. A key part of the job is translating the brand’s personality, values, and identity into platform-appropriate content that resonates with the right audience without losing what makes the brand distinct.

You will help define how the brand should appear and sound on Instagram and TikTok, bringing fresh energy through experimentation, testing, and audience-focused storytelling. The ideal person is confident, imaginative, comfortable both on camera and behind it, and ready to make a visible impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop original content concepts that support engagement goals across Instagram and TikTok, guided by the Social Media Manager’s strategy.
  • Turn the brand’s identity, values, and tone into content styles that suit each platform and audience.
  • Help shape the look and feel of the brand on social while staying true to its core personality.
  • Film content in a range of settings, including the office, warehouse, events, and while on the move, using an iPhone.
  • Edit short-form videos in CapCut or similar tools to achieve a native, platform-first style.
  • Appear on camera when required and bring energy and personality to content.
  • Produce reactive, trend-driven content quickly and creatively.
  • Contribute to street interviews, behind-the-scenes clips, GRWM content, and day-in-the-life videos.
  • Work closely with marketing and brand teams to keep content aligned with campaigns and key brand moments.
  • Review performance regularly, refine ideas, and improve content based on engagement data.

Offer and working arrangement

This is a full-time role with working hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. The position follows a hybrid model, with at least 3 days per week in the office. The workplace is Tropic HQ, a short walk from Beddington Lane Tram stop, with direct connections to East Croydon and Wimbledon.

The starting salary is £26,250 per year. The role is available for an immediate start.
