Role Overview
The company is seeking a Copywriter II who can create compelling brand stories and marketing messages that connect with audiences and support business growth. The role calls for a creative thinker who can balance storytelling with strategic marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Create clear, persuasive content across a wide mix of formats, including product pages, websites, emails, blogs, video scripts, packaging, and paid advertisements.
- Write both short-form and long-form content with equal confidence.
- Work with senior copywriters to develop campaign ideas and support marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Shape and refine brand voice and messaging so it stays consistent across channels while improving storytelling and the customer experience.
- Research topics thoroughly to produce convincing, insight-led copy tailored to the intended audience.
- Partner with designers, marketers, and other teams to build content plans that support larger business goals.
- Handle changing priorities and tight timelines in a dynamic environment while keeping a strong eye on accuracy and detail.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in copywriting, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates marketing and brand-focused work.
- Strong ability to write copy that persuades readers and supports conversion goals.
- Experience leading or contributing to content development efforts with attention to brand direction and market shifts.
- Good conceptual and strategic thinking skills, along with the ability to turn complex ideas into simple, engaging messaging.
- Familiarity with Meta and Google ad content strategy.
- Working knowledge of social platforms such as Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X, and YouTube.
- Prior experience in an agency or in an internal marketing/creative team is preferred.
Location
This is a full-time, office-based position in Tustin, California.
Compensation
Pay starts at $30 per hour.
